One person's comment nailed it, i.e. that after the next 4 years, we'll all be living in canoes.

That's very interesting. I am surprised that the LEO and CG have left him alone for the most part. I wish him the best and hope winter doesn't get to nasty and do him in.

He's probably the man with the most freedom in the USA today. Ever wonder how free we really are being tied to mortgages, jobs, houses, and "stuff".
I would paddle South for the winter.

Totally agree! I know he stays in a tent at night but even so, he'll be looking at snow eventually. Yep, I would definitely be paddling south myself!

Looks like his move from isolation in the woods to paddling around the harbor may be his way of calling attention to his cause. While he is certainly getting more attention, I don't know that it will help with his activism.

Maybe, but he is right in the north end of Boston so there are a lot more resources to take advantage of. But the harbor is darn cold in the winter. We had friends that lived on a sail boat year round within sight of where that pic was taken. Cold and damp!!!

He has the right idea but is limited to protect himself from the elements.
I actually think about living on a houseboat from time to time. Just maybe one day I'll do just that.

I lived on a boat for quite some time. Crash you didn't live on a boat, you lived on a powerhouse with a stolen Christmas Tree. ;D
