I can't believe it only took us 14 months to respond to OT's original post. Hey, better late than never Jim I was going through his threads looking for his pump drill kit video and found it. Maybe it was one of the times I was without a computer and missed it but liked it so I bumped it and like they say, the rest is history and I'm glad I did 'cause he got lots of responses.

Take a banana, wipe a swipe of peanut butter on it and gobble. Kick it up a notch: put a slice of banana on a vanilla wafer, swipe on some peanut butter and then a slice of banana on that. Yummy.

Now that you've mentioned custard...
Airborne's mom used to make something called "sugar pie". The formula was passed to succeeding generations who attempted it unsuccessfully. She herself had trouble with it in later years. I had one of her last samples. Now, it doesn't beat CHOCOLATE... nothing can... but it was excellent!

While I can't give the family recipe, there is one pretty close. We call ours, Superbowl Dip.
Ground beef, velvetta cheese, and salsa. Combine and microwave, stirring until cheese is melted. Serve with favorite chips, we like Fritos Scoops, they hold more dip.

Do you have a favorite snack for movie night ? If so let us in on it. One of my favorite snacks are called pizza burgers. Very easy and fun to make, first you need a pack of hamburger buns, shredded cheese, Pizza sauce and what ever meat and topping you like. first preheat your oven just enough to toast the buns. First flatten the buns a little and put in the oven to lightly toast them. Next take em out and put the sauce on them then the cheese and what ever topping you want. then put them back into the oven just long enough to melt the cheese and get them good and hot.........yum ;D ;D I'm doing this tonight. Thanks I said I will and I did it: Taste soooo good.

Cookie sheet full of: Large white corn chips or scoops, filled with homemade salsa, topped with shredded cheese of choice, and a slice of jalapeƱo. Put under broiler till cheese melts--lordy! lordy! lordy! That is some good snacks. Course gotta wash down with brew of choice. Jim I will make up some of these today with slight variants. I'm using Doritos Nacho Cheese chips, diced Velveeta cheese, store bought chunky salsa, and homemade jalapeno relish. I'll pop them in the oven before kickoff time this afternoon. Forgot my six pack though. Thanks for the idea.

I like to make pinwheels.( garden veggie cream cheese, regular cream cheese, dry fiesta ranch , jar of pimentos, celery thinly sliced all mixed together and spread over a tortilla and the rolled up and cut into slices) (can do them with chicken too) or i do pickle rolls (thinly sliced meat like carl budding laid out and then spread with cream cheese and a pickle all rolled up and cut into slices after it gets cold) or I make onion dip (sour cream, cream cheese, green onions, dry ranch all mixed together) Yummy now im hungry! LOL

We call it Any Kinda Party Dip.
