....NOT....XDS 45 sub compact would not quit whining and crying till I took it with me.....  And got my 1st GEN 2 night scope. It also has IR...camera/video..and 4.5 power...can't wait to try it out.... Yes, been saving for a while for this splurge.... Jimmy |

I hear ya, my local guy has been having sales that are too good to pass on a bunch of program Rugers. Posted last night that todays special is Ruger ARs for 499.00.

That's a great price for the Ruger. I think that they have been selling a lot more AR's since they came out with the gas version. The piston version is a very, very good design - but darned expensive!
I still have a serious itch to go AR10..... the base level DMPS is only $800 without sights..........

Dang brother. Did you shoot it? I could help that.... Yes I did. And as my XD 40 sub compact, it performed perfectly. It does have a bit more recovery, but no big deal. It came with a 9 rd and a 13 rd double stack magazine. The 13 with a grip extention. The night vision device is 4.5x40 monocular, with still and vidio camera. Also has an IR part. All I've had time for it is just a quit look inside the apt when pitch black. Looks like daylight just about. Says it can see clearly to 200 meters. It was $350. New in the box. It was one of those optics venders. He had quite the array of equipment. I'll get some time to further test it. Does that work guys? Lol Jimmy |

The triggers were better before the updated fcg. I tond like shooting the xds as much now
