If you want to fill an eyeglass Rx, please check out the prices at Zenni Optical dot com. I've been getting my glasses exclusively from them for almost 19 years and pay just a fraction of what I would at, say, a Walmart optician. I have never ever paid more than $50 a pair. I think there is more than one other member here who does the same.

I’ve never looked back and have Airborne and MW using them as well. I also passed their info to students and parents when I was still teaching, especially the younger kids who were less likely to be careful with their glasses. CCM, 19 years? Wow! Drifting through places where tv is on, I’ve seen zenni ads. I’m glad they’re becoming mainstream.

I have some $300 frames and some just under $200 others I want to have new lens put in them, if I can find a place to do them.

So happy to hear some great news from you in regards to your eyes. Things seemed to be touch and go for you too long. The good Lord finally realized you needed a break. God Bless!

You've posted this info several times and I'd like to say I'm really serious in seeking them out for my next new eyeglasses prescription. Thanks for sharing AGAIN!!! ADD ON: Kay I believe this valuable info you have shared time and again with us, along with the years you have dealt with this company, should be made into a sticky so it will be readily available should anyone need it. Let's face it, our SEARCH function is non-existent. Just my 2 cents.

I do really like some of their frames and the prices are great.
But I want to use the frames I have and just get new lenses put in them and I don't see how to do that on their site.

Woodyz you posted on "feast" thread that you have scar tissue on retina which can't be removed. My retina specialist was able to remove scar tissue I had for quite some time. I can see out of my eye but things are kinda distorted as I had retina detachment for quite some time without realizing it. Ask your dr. why he can't remove your scar tissue.

It is right in the center and anything he does will make it different but not better.
I got a pair of cheap glasses for the current RX and they work good for the right eye and help the left eye when I but them on. But if I wear them for a long time like driving my left eye will try to focus/improve whet it sees and I will get a pounding headache.
Rain and dark make the time until the headache less.
I used a eye patch for some of it and the eye won't try ans focus so it takes longer for the headache to get where it bothers me.
I don't see enough with the left eye to use it any way. out far the deep perception etc isn't as bad a problem as it is in closer.
shooting is a different thing as the bulls eye isn't exactly where I think it is
I can fudge the difference there for shooting so I think I can still pass the shooting part of my ccp.

From mayo clinic, the more common causes;
The cause and extent of the scarring determines if it can be fixed.
