Went to the range today and shot a few rounds through my Colt Diamondback 22lr. She shot like a dream too. Also got to help my buddy's GF learn on her new SW 2 1/2" snubbie .38 she just inherited from her family. She shot VERY well on it today too. Good day all around ! Attachments:

I have a six inch that wouldn't hit the same place twice if it were in a vice. Then, during cleaning I found a nick, spur, whatever is the right word in the end of the 6" barrel in one of the lands between but on the edge of a groove.
I figured I could polish it out with a drimeil using a soft stone, if I took too much out/off I would have an indention which could be as bad as the projection it had.
Anyway I knocked it down, poliched the crown and last few inches and it shoots fine at 25 yards.
The smaller the caliber the more any thing inside the barrel will cause a loss of accuracy, keep it clean and feed it well and it will work well.
Nice shooting, what was range? Can't complain about those hits. Thanks for sharing.

Wood, I'd love to tell ya I was at 50m knockin it out but my ethos will not let me lie like that . About 10 yards was all. I feel like I could do better with a little practice and getting to know the trigger a bit more intimately. But honestly, this 22 is a safe queen for now and I hope to sell/trade it later (maybe) so Im not going to put alot of ammo thru her.

Spending time sending lead down range is a good day.

Sweet shoot'in. When the time comes to let it go, keep me on top of the list, okay?
