Long day of driving, but I was able to finish putting together a collection of very hard to find pistols for my best friend. (some of you may recall the S&W 29 44 mag I got already) Again, collector level guns are out of my reach now - I'm just sourcing what he wants through connections that I have built over time. Most people won't have any idea of how rare two of these are becoming, but I know that some of you guys can see the "score!" in this post. I got home after dark, so I had to use flash. Reflections cause imperfections to appear that really aren't there in ambient light - these are all pristine. As of tonight, I have these three - and only a couple more to go. 50 caliber Desert Eagle black nickel, made in Israel - only 1500 made 44 Automag, 10" (note, Automag vs. Auto Mag) 44 Magmum Desert Eagle in polished stainless - also from Israel I put the dollar bill in this shot to provide a sense of scale - these puppies are big...... Had more fun than I can explain, throwing lead downrange with these today. Marc

You are correct marc, I have no idea what you truly have there but I am certainly able to appreciate the beauty of a fine weapon and it looks like all three of those are top drawer!

Gee Marc, I couldn't focus on the guns because of that folded corner on the dollar bill. Please straighten that out for me. I'm CDO. ;D ;D ;D

Marc, you owe me dude...the drool ruined my keyboard.... ;D What a collection. I've had the pleasure to shoot the Automag and the 44 Eagle...did get to hold a 50 DE once, not long after they came out... Refresh my memory...the 50 is a .50 AE? or not? Can't remember. Jimmy

Just to say it again – I bought these for my best friend who will pay me back because he can easily afford them. These are out of my range if I want to be able buy other luxuries like food and shoes......... (Same guy that I found the S&W 29 revolver for – I only have one best friend)
I’m just using some interesting contacts that I have to help him find these rare birds for his growing collection. It’s REALLY hard to find a black nickel 50 AE made in Israel and an original 10 3/8” 44 Auto Mag from El Monte or Pasadena. I was thrilled to get this done in less than a year. More to go, but it’s gonna get harder now, because the next bar is higher and the prices get insane.
Jimmy: Yep – 50 AE on that one, 44 AMG on the Auto Mag and standard Rem 44 mag on the stainless (chrome?) Desert Eagle. The Auto Mag was way more money than the others and the 50 AE blew some large diameter holes through an old tree, plus the metal building behind it. BUT, that 44 Magnum just sang for me – over and over again. I’m 6’1” at 240 lbs. and the sheer weight/mass at 5+ lbs. reduces muzzle flip and absorbs recoil unbelievably well. Both the 50 and the 44 “push back” at you more than ”flip up.” I was back on target faster, with more confidence than with many smaller bore guns I have. That 44 would be mine if I could swing it!! What a great combination with a 44 wheel gun, and lever rifle .........
Geron: I fixed it so you can sleep tonight!

Those are beautiful and you are a very good best friend.. If I knew how to do it I'd find them for someone just to be able to shoot them. Nice work and beautiful guns
