What are you afraid of? I'm talking about day-to-day things that leave your palms sweaty, not economic disaster global pandemic stuff. Mine are:
Towing. I'm absolutely terrified to be in a towed car or towing a car. Heights. Don't do well up on a ladder. Good news, I'm not afraid of widths. Snakes. Never been bit, but our Arizona desert has rattlers. 0.0 Clowns. Yep. Almost wet myself at the circus. Funny, huh?

Now that's funny.. and I agree I do NOT want to die by drowning or fire Plus ONE on the snakes. I would still jump out of an airplane if I had to I would SCUBA again if I could even out the pressure I don't know that I'd crawl so far back into a cave as I did when I was a Boy Scout.. that doesn't appeal to me too much (and I'm not that skinny) The older I get the fear list is growing while the bucket list is shrinking. Is that the same as wisdom?

~Loosing my best friend. He is almost 73 years old now. ~Elevators, well, actually the big gaping hole under them. ~Sky walks of any height, but I am getting better. ~Extreme heights, although if I have something to hang on to I can manage, even if I do cry. ~Being attacked, beaten & raped again.

huge cockroaches, those suckers fly
snakes, more like getting bit by one and not getting treatment in time
spiders, I kill them all
heights, if I have to I will climb, the problem is coming down without looking down to do it
claustrophobia
riding in a boat without a life preserver
strangers knocking on my door especially at night
driving in unknown areas
darkness, I hate when the sun goes down

The wife. Other than that, I haven't stumbled onto anything. If I had to guess, it would be being helpless.

Just remembered another one. Being abandoned in a crowd. Christmas is the worst, when hubs Mike and I go shopping at a mall or in a huge store packed with shoppers and he says, "okay, you go your way and I'll go mine, and we'll meet back here in.." and all of a sudden I'm attached to him like a barnacle on the Queen Mary's hull, panting and wide-eyed.

hmmmm.... The only thing that really gets to me to the point of panic is being confined in a space where I'm not in control. Mostly just being a passenger in a car is the worst thing now. I'm getting better. Once I learned that fear couldn't hurt me my body took it a step further and it makes me physically ill. I guess my subconscious really wants me to be safe. I also have a phobia of talking about my worst fears. I never talk about them because some part of my brain figures the dark forces of the universe could use them against me by causing them to happen. If I don't talk about them then the gremlins have to guess. But I'm good with spiders, snakes, bugs (still hate ticks), clowns, darkness....all the usual stuff is not an issue with me. There's my little bit of paranoia!
