4 55 gal drums (they are cheap as chips) stacked would be a better option for water than all those gallon jugs and still you would have to ration, navy showers and a pit toilet in the back yard would be the order of the day.
also where are the cleaning and sanitation pruducts, bo bleach, tp or feminine hygene products (the basics), soap, shampoo all are missing.
and what about blankets and such like, if there is enough of a disaster to make you have to survive on your own stockpiles for a month then no doubt the power will be out, in the middle of winter you will need extra bedding and cold weather clothing.
it is not exactly a 'surive anything' stockpile

Not even close....at the most I say enough water for about 30-60 days if rationed properly. As for the food, maybe it will feed them for a month, that's if they have the water to cook it.

"Grandpappy" website says "If one person consumes 2.75 quarts of water each day, then one person will need 250 gallons of water per year. A family of four will need 1,000 gallons of water per year. One-thousand gallons of water weighs about 4.25 tons. (And that does NOT include water for washing your hands or for washing dishes.)" This is just drinking water. The family of 4 1000 gallons divided by 12 is 83.33 gallons a month. www.grandpappy.info/wwater.htm

I don't think there is enough water but I think it would keep a family alive more or less. I think there is a little more food than you can see. There are 5 jars of Jiff and the stack of white beans looks like there may be a few bags behind the first stack. They never give a list with exact numbers. I can't believe they only have one large instant coffee.
As far as the oil, if they plan to live on rice and beans or just a lot of beans then they would need to add a little veg oil for calories and necessary fats. With some seasoning it would make the pasta tolerable. I bet they are counting on that to increase caloric intake.

This is more than 90% of the people out there have. Just think of how many will be starving in 5 days? ?
