When we post pictures using the IMG codes from Photobucket, other photo storing sites, or the web (remember - no copyrighted stuff) --- Please make sure that the pictures are sized to about 640 X 480. The reason for this is that when really large pictures are linked that will not fit in the width of the screen, then we have to scroll left or right to not only see the entire picture, but to read the posts (as they will fill the new screen size).
This is just something that will make everybody's time a little more enjoyable. Thanks.

Thanks for the pointers. Now if I could figure out how to get an IMG code from all of my photographs in my new Photbucket album I'd be set.

If you put your cursor on the picture in your photbucket album, a drop down menu will appear. On that menu is a blue bar where you can share, edit, delete or move that picture. Below that blue bar you have four more options. Email & IM, Direct Link, HTML code, IMG code. To copy on of those, but your cursor on it and left click....you should see it read copied momentarily. You want to use the one labeled IMG code for posting pictures here. In you post, right click where you want the picture and select paste.
Use the direct link code for avatars.
Don't use the other two on the forum.

Here's how I does it. Hope it helps There are two ways. 1. Go to your album in photobucket; left click on the photo you want to paste into SB. Right click on the window that opens then click on "copy img URL." in that window; Back to SB and click on reply, then paste the copied "copy img Url" into the reply window of SB. Now highlight the URL you just pasted and go the the 4th choice past "tube" above the first smiley face and click on "insert Image." Preview and your photo should be there. 2.Open album in PB. click on the pic you want to paste in SB. On the bottom right hand side of the screen you'll see a box labeled "Links." Place the pointer on the bottom choice "img code" and LEFT click once. That copies the Img Code URL. Now got to SB and paste it in the Reply window. The Image url must be enclosed thusly any photo url here [/img] Works for me both ways. Yeah yeah clear as mud I know. i862.photobucket.com/albums/ab187/geronc/Plant.jpg?t=1337990501[/img]

Oops!! Sorry bout that Sailor! I should have known better. If it makes any amends I am friends on Facebook with the Blue Angels and do try and follow them. They will be here at the Jacksonville AFB for a show in July.

Believe it or not Geron now that I have done it what you wrote makes sense! Now, how can I post multiple pix in the same reply like you did with the flower?

What I find easiest is to have two windows open. One to the forum and the other to my photobucket page. Copy and paste one img code, return to your photobucket page and copy and paste another. I find that if you hit return twice (double space) between photos, it makes it easier to view them.
