I suppose you could make a quick bread out of it. That's a non-yeast bread, like banana bread, zucchini bread or nut bread. I bet if you used a Bisquick recipe for a quick bread it would work.

I never heard of it either. My bannock formula was a pile of flour, some leavening appropriate to the quantity, and the option for add-ons like sugar, cinnamon, raisins, honey, etc.

Can bread be made from Krusteaz just add water pancake mix? If it can be done, how? Great question and one which got me thinking about it also as I have Krusteaz muffin mix. I looked it up and the answer is yes. You may need to add less water to achieve a thicker dough to work with but it can be done. I found online sources attesting to this and I copied the following link for y'all to read with other uses of pancake mix as well. Hope it helps. www.livestrong.com/article/547995-alternative-uses-for-pancake-mix/?utm_source=livestrong_opar&utm_medium=3

First, you should know that I always make bread in large amounts so Airborne can defrost a new loaf whenever he needs one. Aside from how good the homemade stuff is, I enjoy catering to his whims as well as his dietary restrictions. Breadmaking is somewhat time-consuming, so if I'm going to do it, I might as well make a lot. I shall post pictures if you wish, each step at a time. Understand that I don't measure except by handful or by the bag or whatever. Say the word and I'll start putting additional pictures here. Attachments:

I have no idea how to put all these pictures into one post. If there's a way for the mods to do it, outstanding! I've seen Crash do it for his knives but I'm clueless as to how. Next is one can of evaporated milk. We call it "exasperated milk" in our house, mostly to be funny. We rename a lot of things... Attachments:
