Omg....I had no idea those things could go up and down that easy. I thought they had to wrap around the tree in order to go up....Duuuuuuuh ! Lol That freaking thing is like spiderman...thanks Sink for sharing. I'm not a snakes guy and definately not a reptiles man.

That is a fine looking snake. Those rascals can go up and down a tree or bush like lightening. Now Orly will be looking over head and on the ground. LOL

I'm with you Orly. It would either be the snake or me in camp but not both. They just make my skin crawl.

That photo reminds me of the time a black snake fell out of the tree on top of my grandpa. Haha

As long as there are black snakes around, you don't have to worry about poisonous snakes!! They eat copperheads adn rattlers!! I have a deep appreciation for Rat and King snakes...as long as they leave my rabbits, chickens, ducks, turkey, chuckars, guinnies, and eggs alone!

nice pics thanks for sharing. Speaking of snakes we had a king snake recently that did not like beingmessed with so when I got the kids to leave it alone the snake bit me. even though it hurt I did not blame the snake it had become aggrivated so i finished picking it up and explained the its a king snake and not poisonous and that they actually will kill a rattler. the snake calmed down and i took it over to the edge of the ravine and let it go.

Most black snakes spend lots of time high in the tree tops. They are excellent climbers and use the belly scales to help hold and climb trees and rock. Snakes are very fascinating and the majority are harmless. They have no venom so kill there pray by constriction.Great pic dink it's a beautiful snake ;D
