newspaper? what's a newspaper?
I used to love to read a newspaper from cover to cover. I don't remember the last time I picked one up
Now I just hit 'delete'.

You can stack folded newspapers in a large box tightly, tape it shut, and use it for an arrow stop for target practice. Not good for broad heads though.

Only printed news I read any more is the Sunday paper, because my wife buys it for the coupons, and that is about all it is worth. I don't think anyone around here can write or edit a news story worth a flip. I will read 3 or 4 different internet papers a day, and then highlites from several more. The paper I do end up with we use some for fire starting, fireplace in winter, brush piles and BBQ. But most of the black and white goes down for worm food. Laying several layers of newspaper around you flowers and plants then covering with mulch is a good way to keep weeds down and to keep grass out of a path. www.astrostar.com/Eighty-Uses-For-Old-Newspaper.htm

We use them in thick layers on long rectangle shaped tables to spill out boiled seafood on and chow down.

I recycle mine, but there are lots of things you can do with newspapers. Like make stuff out of papier mache. Make a medium thick paste out of flour and water, dip torn newspaper strips in it and cover forms (oh, like a blown-up balloon if you want that shape, or a big bowl turned upside down if you want a bowl shape, or a head shape bowl turned upside down if you want to make a mask) and when you have a quarter inch layer or (thicker if that's what you want) then put it aside somewhere out of the way and let it dry. When it's completely dry, paint it.
You can also make seed starting pots out of newspapers. Look online for directions.
