Cody is just fine and I have 2 of his books . Just wish he would wear some shoes . Even my Apache ancestors wore shoes . I am unaware of any of the nations that did not wear shoes. As I understand it, the perception of shoeless natives comes from the Tsalagi trail of tears. Most of those caught up by the troops were not allowed to gather their belongings including their shoes. While opinions vary, there are many of us from the eastern band who take some offense with his not wearing shoes along with the desire of his to be native. Not being allowed to gather things like shoes and clothing caused the death of thousands of my ancestors from exposure. I can understand why some take offense to him given that. I have no issues with Cody wanting to be barefoot if that is his style / his gig / his choice . Simply find it kinda strange to see him hobbling down a snowy mountainside with pieces of a blanket wrapped around his feet and legs . Have seen him working around coral in tropical areas . Coral can really make your day if you step in the wrong place . The worst thing are Cone snails . A Cone snail can kill you dead if you step on it . I love walking around barefoot and still have a lot of the old hippie in me , but there is a time and a place . Winding up lame in the wilderness is not my idea of a good time . Bear Grylls loves to run down scree and rocky mountainsides . The camera crew will carry him out . The rest of us will perish with a broken ankle . Just my BA opinion

I had NO idea this thread existed!! I posted a thread a day or 2 ago with the same video and actually believe I put the same title on it. I wanted to give my appologies before removing it. I guess I need to soend more time on here and paying attention to what's going on than I have been.
