That would be great! Maybe you could branch out and show us some of your trick needlepoint moves too! My father did needlepoint. His father etched glass. Each of us has/had our own crafty thing. I always liked knots, though, and the video was quite clear on what to do.

Just used this knot today when putting up our replacement flags on the pole (sun faded the old flags).

Good job for keeping the flag fresh and attractive looking, thanks so much for sharing this.

Not only must the flag look serviceable, but there has to be a Marine Corps flag there too. Both were sun-faded and both are new now. I usually wave a Marine flag on Memorial Day while I watch the parade. Oohrah! Our Marine whittled a separate pole and has a Betsy Ross American flag flying from it, also tied with paracord. When our flags are retired from use, they are presented to the local AFJROTC cadets who have a lesson in what to properly do with nonserviceable flags. Last year they got several from us as well as one from the school where I teach.

It's nice to know that there are at least a few people still know how to take care of the flag. I learned in Boy Scouts.

Here they are, our new flags. I ordered smaller ones so the USMC flag wouldn't catch on the handrail. Attachments:
