I dunno, I think I lean the other way: The bullet style looks like it would create a nasty set of wound channels up close and personal. I'd have to try it out before deciding against it. I don't carry a 9mm, but I'd like to see how a 150-180 gr .357 mag performs.
If I had handguns, they would be loaded with the PDX1 series from Winchester.

It does look interesting but it also looks like it would split apart before it reached the target but if it did reach the target it would be lots of damage.

It's cheaper to just shoot them 9 times with a .22 LR hollow point.. 9 trails into the body.. put a little garlic or mercury into the hollow point and kablowie.. lol
