I don't know about y'all, but I have a lot of stuff stored in 5 gal bucks, as well as using them for a lot of things, moving stuff, planters ...tools buckets, sitting on cache's....but 5 (or 6 , 4, 7-1/2)buckets seem to be an ideal storage container.
Now that bring me to the question on how long they last, so have been doing some looking into type materials, uses and prices.
This came about as I was trying to get a lid off an empty to use it....only to have =the side of the bucket cave in,
It had been stored in a shed so UV shouldn't have been a problem....I have had planter buckets literality crumble;
So this is a what I found officially, but still doesn't give me an idea on which ones that last longest.
Food: shelf life 25 years...bucket it's stored in, 7-10 years......??
