It uses side furling. The alternator sits off to the side of the vertical centerline of the tower and the tail bracket is also on a pivot. When the wind blows real hard, it pushes the turbine to the side. When the wind calms, gravity pulls everything back into position.
This is a very short, and not great quality video; but, it shows how the unit folds and then drops back to normal position:
