What really gets me is the director has seen me several times wearing the same shorts for a year now and suddenly they're too short. This woman has been riding my case for that long and denying me privileges others use but I can't. Time to get some answers.

In one nursing home where I worked, management made it a point to create something every week without fail that my department head had to "discuss" with me. There was enough hot air for a fleet of balloons because, like your situation, what "had been ok" was changed without my knowing it. Policy changes were always saved for use as semi-disciplinary devices.
I have no respect for folks who change the rules mid-game and hide the fact until it suits their purpose.

I have no respect for folks who change the rules mid-game and hide the fact until it suits their purpose. I feel the same way. Got a return call from the governor's office. The woman I spoke too was hilarious, she said one of the other women probably caught her husband staring at my legs one too many times and reported me. I agreed with her.  |
