I have always carried in a galco king tuk. www.galcogunleather.com/kingtuk-iwb-holster_8_7_1176.html I can use it in my sweats, gym shorts, school clothes, work clothes, performs great with a suit on. It was the first one I bought and I have few bad things to say about it. Little stiff at first but once you wear it for a bit it wears into your body and molds itself to you. very concealable. My in laws that are afraid of guns didn't know I was wearing it for atleast a year before the wife told them about it.

Best holster I ever owned was a custom paddle holster by Fist. It was expensive but, awesome. Its the only one I have ever seen with a pad on the paddle which was sooo comfy. I have a Galco pancake style for my Ruger GP100 that also wears very nicely.

1. Inside waistband. Glocks 2. Pancake modified to my needs. 1911's 3. Custom belt vertical carry. Big Revolvers. Plus depends on what odd guns I come up with. LoL Now that we have open carry, it is more likely a Ruger compact LC 9mm in the back pocket.

Does anyone here use the Sneaky Pete; or, a special fanny pack; or, a tactical vest or jacket with built in "holster?"

Does anyone here use the Sneaky Pete; or, a special fanny pack; or, a tactical vest or jacket with built in "holster?" I ordered a Sneaky Pete once, for a Kel Tec PF9. (Lost the old friend overboard during a fishing trip) Depending on what you want to put in it, I don't see it as a very viable option. There are pros and cons to all options, as we know, and I was willing to settle on some of the cons when trying to remove the pistol for giving me an option at a strong side, concealed pistol carry that was classy enough to wear with a suit when needed. What I could not get over was how fictional it looked on my hip. I should have known better, even for as small as the PF9 is...it's still bigger than many phones, and the case made it looked huge and comical. Maybe it would be ok with an LCP or some similar 380 or lesser caliber pistol, but I would seriously recommend taking a look at one before forking over the cash. Got rid of that thing right quick, and back to the uncle mikes pocket holster...before I lost it all...in that lake...

I have a 2 shot 9mm derringer as a backup I most often carry in a Galco ankle holster, but I have an inside the pants Uncle Mikes for it as well.
I also use an Uncle Mikes ankle holster for the 9mm revolver (backup), but its a little heavy IMO on the ankle. I have a small of the back serpa for it as well.
For many years all I ever carried concealed or open was a Colt Model 70 Officers ACP in 45 in a laminated leather belt slide open at the top and bottom with just a strip across the center.
Those years my backup was a Starr 9mm in the small of my back.
For the last few years I have been carrying a Beretta M9 or the ACP, mostly in an Uncle Mikes Inside the pants.
If I wear a coat or suit jacket I carry in a shoulder holster I modified with some wide elastic bands from a pair of suspenders with large heavy duty alligator clips on the ends.
For some reason the last few years, I went back to the laminated belt strap holsters for my main carry. The belt slides have a clip attachment on either side allowing me to clip it over my belt either inside or outside my pants, They also have belt loops which is how I use them. Slightly behind the hip. Belt through the back slot, belt through a pants belt loop then the belt through the front slot. No sag, very comfortable. One size works fine for the Beretta, Colt or Glock and I have a smaller one if I want to carry something in 380 (not often)
I carry everyday. When I get dressed the holster is already on my belt and I pick the handgun off the table next to the bed just as I do my shoes or boots. I carry in the house, on the property and if I go anywhere. When in the truck the main carry is under my right leg. If I get it either goes in the holster or the trunk

No holster snaps or finger release for me
I tried the serpa molded with the finger release and gave them away after the first week
not for me
I like the top half of my weapon open and clear to my hand.
Arguments are it might fall out or someone might take it from you
Hasn't happened for 40+ years so I doubt it.
Besides, mights/mites crawl on a chickens butt.

I really like a cross draw rigg
but for some reason these last 20 years or so my belly keeps getting in the way.
I do have a Galco crossdraw I sometimes wear when I am riding my MC, but more often its the shoulder rig under a vest or coat then.

Another thing that I tried and liked was a gun clip or clipdraw. Not a magazine a clip of spring steel like you might find on a folding knife www.clipdraw.com/These are very easy to install and make it possible to quickly attach it and quickly draw it cons are getting used to it being there when you are firing and it tends to let the larger, heavier guns rock back and forth a little.

I've tried shoulder rigs before but could never get used to it. Perhaps they were just to cheap. I have a leather outside the waist that can hold either my XD or Glock, I just don't think I will ever wear it even though open carry is allowed outside of some of the nature walks I take from time to time.

My shoulder rig has the very large pieces at the top of the shoulders like this one ts3.mm.bing.net/th?id=HN.608053355309632376&pid=1.7I had several different ones over the years and I find this type more comfortable for me. However, as I said I modified it with pieces cut out of wide stretch type suspender material with clips I can clip to my belt or pants. Its very comfortable and does pull or shift. Gun under the left arm and two mag under the right equal out the weight. I would wear it all the time but its not practical in the summer.

Shoulder rig and belt slides are Bianchi
I tried the Miami and the James Bond and the McQueen Bullet style rigs and always felt like the thinner straps were pulling and getting moved around.
Those were high end expensive, but the one I finally settled on is about $45
