I am due for a Tetanus shot. My last was after Katrina, what a reminder! It will be ten years on the 29th of August that Katrina hit. So yes I'm due for another. Maybe it's time for you too so here is your reminder.

I will never forget Katrina.
We gathered our girls and prayed rosaries on our knees on hard tile floor for all those in harm's way. We had just returned from Medjugorje (Bosnia) a Catholic religious site (not yet approved) on August 15th and the group we traveled with are from Sterrett AL. They took all their heavy equipment and drove it to Katrina's worst areas and spent weeks, with no pay, at their own expense, fixing and constructing and taking away debris. They posted heartbreaking pictures.

Katrina was a terrible time for the country.
City built in a depression below sea level, full of democrats, big flood. Yep, just terrible.
Ok, ok. It really was a sad time. Lots of misery. But it's recovering nicely except murder rate is climbing back up. That's not good. Hope they control that. NOLA is a fun place to visit for two days.

Katrina was a terrible time for the country. City built in a depression below sea level, full of democrats, big flood. Yep, just terrible. You're horrible. Ok, ok. It really was a sad time. Lots of misery. But it's recovering nicely except murder rate is climbing back up. That's not good. Hope they control that. NOLA is a fun place to visit for two days. Much better. NOLA is a great place to visit. As to the crime rate, I believe the plan is to let the thugs knock off each other and rid the city of their stupidness.

Looks like I need to update quite a few and have those vaccines which as you say could protect me from the incoming overflow of immigrants. The reminder for the Tetanus vaccine was a precaution should the SHTF. Anyone else have thoughts of possibly a vaccine not mentioned.

There is a shingles vaccine. Good one TW and highly recommended for people who are aged 60+ whether you recall having had chicken pox or not.

Well yesterday I dropped by my doctor to pick up prescriptions to get filled. I had an appt. scheduled next week but was able to see my doctor then instead. While there I told him I needed to update my Tetanus shot. Mud, he told me renew every ten years. CWI posted a list and TW posted another important vaccine we should consider getting should all hell break loose. That is a goal of mine, one down and many more to go. They could be great help fighting outbreaks of something. Just food for thought.

Hmmm I figured in Louisiana you'd need a tetnus shot every two weeks. Lots of 'stuff' in those bayous. And since I'm currently in Louisiana let me just say the humidity level hasn't changed a bit. Still high.

Are you in my area, not that I'd like to meet someone who insults my state.
