So here I am sneezing and blowing my nose, spitting up some phlegm too. What am I doing? Simply boiling me a few pounds of shrimp. I added about two tablespoons of liquid seafood boil in the pot and that's all it took. Once the water started boiling and the seafood boil permeated the atmosphere, the sneezing began. My advice is buy a bottle and keep it in your medicine cabinet cuz it's 100% guaranteed to work. Don't confuse this with colds, this is merely seasonal allergies.

I knew what you had done when I read the title. Lol. True in Louisiana. Other places? Fresh jalapeño. Even without the seeds does it for me. Easier to grow jalapeño after you run out of 'boil'.

Of course a fresh can of long cut wintergreen Skoal can also fix you right up. If you haven't 'dipped' in about a year it can make you a little light headed too. :-)

I will not be deprived cooking seafood or making jerky without proper seasonings. Yep, well covered. Hmm, just thinking about something, I wonder what boiled gator or turtle would taste like using any one of these. As to jalapenos, I use crushed pickled ones in my gumbos and on my hot dog sandwiches, my eyes get watery and my nose gets runny. So fresh or pickled they work the same for me which is good. Oh yea, shrimp were great and Bud will help me sleep tonight. As to the light headed stuff, I'm waiting for them to legalize "fig leaves" if ya get my drift.

Mace or OC pepper spray? I remember when I got OC sprayed for my Coast Guard qualification. I was in Paducha KY in the summer and it was about 99f and humid as a hot shower stall. Top it off, I had a vicious sinus head cold infection thing going on. After it was all said and done, I had a pile of Mountain Dew colored discharge in a towel. I couldnt believe that much crap was inside my head. Once the OC effects wore off, I had no more head cold! Next day I was clear as a bell.

Mace. Reagan was president. Sorry TB, that question was actually for Carolina. My bad. I was wondering which one she had used. Mace is just not that common as OC is these days outside military and corrections. Being in during the Reagan years must have been a time of fat DOD budgets!

Reagan years were the best time to be military. Military pay raises. Equipment. Money to train with. Most importantly he understood the power of just having military readiness. Peace through strength.

Kids at school have given me back-to-back sinus infections. Both involved a low-grade fever, a completely plugged nose, and some temporary nausea from the postnasal drip. My naturopath (same practice as the acupuncturists) gave me an herbal preparation that is a wonder drug as far as I'm concerned.
