Lets start at under $5000. What motorized vehicles for transportation/hauling would survive an EMP. Could include vehicles with easily storable (Faraday), replaceable, relatively inexpensive parts that would be damaged by said EMP. Vehicles that are totally EMP resistant or can be made that way. Here's one guys list: www.survivopedia.com/best-emp-bug-out-vehicles/#I already have a '72 Super Beetle that I'll strip and weld up when I get this cotton-picking house build. Other ideas?

My old 2 cyl diesel tractor. Manual fuel pump. Park on a hill and roll start. It will always start and go. Cold weather would be different as that little diesel is a bugger to start period when it gets below 45°.
Just one idea I'm sure.

Jimmy I have a diesel tractor also but unfortunately it's a modern dude and subject to damage Finding an old one would be a good start!

we did a woodgas proof of concept on a large welder/generator
we have the conversion kit on it and was was just a matter of switching a hoseline out
it worked good enough to run and make electric, a lot of surging though

Thought about this a lot..... The posted site...guy list is kinda over the top....with military vehicles and all for the average guy. 1980's back and older trucks and vans are a good start.
Had a 1072 Dodge cargo van.....all you needed was spare ballast resistor....and would stay running, no matter how many other things fell off.
Terrorist in many places in the world seem to favor the Toyota HiLux trucks..... Had a 1972 Yoyota...and the carb had a "dial the octane" screw for use in 3 world counties.....so there must be something to it.
Sadly fuel storage will be the major problem to anything that will still run....so diesel (the many versions), wood gas, propane/NG conversions are all a thought.
But with 3 months of Meds (max)...and if not able to be re-supplied.....Worrying about 10 years the road is kinda silly for DW and I.
So, When TSHTF....gonna get me a Corvette.....just because.... I haven't had one since the black 1959 convertible

Looks like Syrians in Pennsylvania. Chechnya or Georgian I think, somewhere in the Caucasus region but could be Poland. That's a polski fiat they cut down for the horse carriage. Original child state cars, they were all over the Caucasus area, not so much Poland where the Lada was more common. I hated those damn things. They made a yugo look and run like a Mercedes, and in the late 1990s, it was about all you could rent in the area unless you were fortunate enough to find a lada (only a marginally better car.)

You'll more than likely be able to find a suitable vehicle in your neighborhood. Think of all the car shows in your areas with trucks and cars from way back when. Now, where are ya gonna get the petrol? Do y'all honestly have that much at y'all disposal?
My BIL has a Dodge Charger in pristeen condition. He bought it cuz in his youth he owned one and wanted another one. I know he doesn't have spare petrol for it. Heck, I don't even think he has any guns and ammo. Maybe he can trade his Charger to someone for something he needs if he survives any falling outs to begin with.
I believe transportation will be back to the horse and buggy days or bicycles.

Muscle cars make poor BOV's....EMP or not. They do however make a good "G.O.O.D. vehicle....like leaving the ghetto...very fast.... at O'dark thirty during a riot in the 1960's. Fuel mileage sucks if you can find gas with enough octane to run the high compression motors.
Just saying....
