I've been wanting one of these for a good long while now. I am making a retro set up that I plan to take to the woods next season. At worst, it will make a fine fishing bow. I know "modern" bows are incredible and are arrow rockets but, these have beautiful lines and are light as a feather. I couldnt pass up the $50 sale price (plus $16 ship) off ebay. When I get it, i'll have my buddy tune it and make sure she is operational. For only 50 clams, why not?

Great grab! I agree, I love the classic look. It will perform fine I'm sure.

My bow came in the other day! I really like the weight and feel of it so far. It is going to need a bit more work than I first anticipated but, nothing that cant be fixed by general maintenance and a few new pieces of hardware to replace the rusted ones. I am going to replace the axles because one is rusted and if you replace one, do both. Cables and limbs are in good shape. The fool that had it before me must have taken it apart at some point as the grommets are missing on the bolts that hold the limbs to the riser. String looks ok but, that's a cheap replacement for a piece that can make for a bad day if it parts so a new string it is. Otherwise, she needs a bit of cosmetic work where the finish discolored some and I should be launching arrows sometime after that. I'll take some before and after shots as I work on it and post up later.

I had one almost like it only a 4 wheel back around 80, (yes, last century) and it was beautiful in all ways, so I camo painted it. Easiest draw bow I ever had. Took several deer then moved on to Darton, Pse, those crazy azzed Onida eagles, yada yada. LoL

Oniedas are actually pretty hot again these days. Saw a guy hocking latest and greatest at a gun show last year. Too many moving parts I think.

They can have my share of them. LoL, not limb and brush friendly. I have hi country and hoyt now. The hoyt is hands down the best shooter I ever had. Shots are repeatable and stacks arrows, no recoil and very quiet. Oniedas are actually pretty hot again these days. Saw a guy hocking latest and greatest at a gun show last year. Too many moving parts I think.
