I've been receiving MBM from the VA for at least 15 years. If I need emergency meds, I use my VA discount card at Wallyworld to have them fill at a low co-pay. Well within the last two months I have had two meds denied by the VA, usually a very rare occurrence. Each would've been $75.00 out of my pocket. So Medicare is making more cuts in the budget for services it once offered, for the third time the gov. didn't allow us a cost of living raise on our monthly checks, now they're attacking our meds. Yep, plenty more to go around for all the couch potatoes and immigrants to share more of.

Well, insurance companies want to control what drugs you are prescribed by your doctors as well... It is a constant battle it seems like for my DW to get the scripts filled that she requires... I am lucky enough to have been fit as a fiddle all my life. I have not been to a doctor for any reason other then a required physical by the company I was going to work for in over 30 years now...

It seems I'm getting first hand knowledge of where that Medicaid money is going. It's going to the woman with four kids, no husband, no photo ID, can't find her insurance card, (we've been here a lot, it's in your records,) won't corral the little rugrats cause she's talking or texting on her Obama phone while I'm trying to get her kid checked in by asking questions. The second time I have to ask I have a bit of authority/disdain in my voice. (Kind of like 'you're going to be able to text with your a-hole if you don't put that phone away and pay attention,' voice). Sometimes it actually works. Sometimes.

The most number of patients I've registered in a day is 27. This is my third week (as a reference a woman that's been here two plus years saw 34 that day) some days we are just slammed and those other patients need to be handled efficiently so they can get their tests. Besides I'd rather just show my disdain for her rudeness. Some welfare folks need the help and act appreciative for it. Those I'm happy to help and encourage b
