Man, it would be sweet to run one of those on terrain that I couldn't dream of floating or climbing across now. But, then we don't have a lot of snow/frozen tundra to cross.
Deep east Texas out toward Louisiana has some really cool gator populated bayous that would be blast to explore more. But, for that I really like airboats for the shallows. Can you tell that I have an itch for an airboat? Nothing like it....

I am thinking getting one imported would be troublesome in today's political environment.

I am thinking getting one imported would be troublesome in today's political environment. It very well may be an issue for sure. But I bet the USA would be a big customer if things worked out. The base one can be had for $50k and maxed out for around a $100k. I see 4wd trucks running around all the time that are $40-90k. Price a full blown 4wd F350 or 450 all dolled out. It's crazy. Jimmy

Jimmy 40-90k... I wonder if people have considered refitting an old one before they fork over that kind of money.. I am thinking complete rewire, new drive train, paint etc including older truck would come in under that... Oh that's right, obama cash for clunkers got rid of a lot of those older vehicles... damn the luck..

When I lived at the lake a neighbor had a brand new Chevy 3/4 ton. $69,000. Big tires big chrome wheels, leather seats with OSTRICH INSERTS. Yep!!! Oilfield worker. Spent it as fast as he made it but didn't pay cash for anything. Everything was on credit. I could probably buy that truck for $15,000 from him today. But who wants ostrich? Lol
