i figured this to be more of a mental capability than anything else for those that have a family member or relative who is more along the lines of not being able to do things, mentally and/or physically any more.or not to begin with..
now take my mom for example..she has arthritis, degenerative bone structure, high blood pressure.because of 1 med she takes, and her health, she can no longer handle the summer heat for extended length of time..she hardly has any immune system left, which means she'd get deathly sick too easy,if she's outside for too long.among other physical handicaps.i've been doing for her, starting in 2007,even then, not much..to good/great deal now.i've had to ask myself these questions not only as a son,but as a prepper as well..can she handle bugging out,if the time comes?.i doubt it,especially if we have to travel a very long distance.she can no longer walk 50 to 100 feet without getting out of breath.so any bugging out on foot is out of the queston..no matter what i think of,when it comes to bugging in,to bugging out.certain questions keep coming to mind.can i take her life,or let her take her own life when the time comes?most n likely not.or,can i bring myself,to leaving her on the side of the road, buried or not ?will i be able to provide her what she needs in meds or what ever in a SHTF/TEOTWAWKI ? prolly not..will family show up to help.? i doubt it..can i trust our neighbors to help out?.nope.. they're that sorry n low down..do i put her in a nursing home,if things look like their fiction to go south for winter, and not come back? no,on account why would the people that work there, stay to help those that aint family in a SHTF/TEOTWAWKI ? im sure i wouldnt..i have a dilemma here,in which i feel there's more than one answer to my questions here.but yet, which one(s) be the right one(s)??
for those in the same boat as i am.have you come up with any ideas,and/or answers?
