Anyone have this
I had some of the symptoms for a long time but they can be from other things so basically even though I don't remember having the symptoms like they talk about, but I guess I have malaria "lite" or something.
Lord knows I had all my shots and some of yours and I got ate by mosquitoes 24/7 but its only lately as I get order it brothers me with fever and muscle craps
I know I had to 3-4 day disabling days a couple of times when I first got it, but then it seemed more like the symptoms were that but they eased off and I just dealt with them
Last week it was like one of the first times, Lay in bed with a fever and sweat for 4-5 days while I shook so hard I thought I would break something loose just from shaking.
I sure wouldn't want to be in combat during a dose.
It seems like its like my PTSD not there for the last 40 years then just shows up one morning.

The first thing that popped into my (medically UNtrained) head was Lyme disease or something else borne by bugs of some variety (whether insects or arachnids). A family who used to attend the church where I play ALL contracted Lyme. The mom had regular relapses of fever, aches, and general malaise; I can't confirm the muscle cramps, but if you shake/shiver long enough, those muscles can easily cramp (personal experience with pneumonia for that one). The family now attends a church much closer to their home and we seldom see each other.

I guess lyme could be a possibility as I have found ticks since early April
but I was diagnosed with malaria 47 years ago
but its like it went away for 40 years then decided to come back

Got to say Woody, sure sounds like lyme disease to me. Those are the exact symptoms my husband had even the sweating and the fevers.

With no real winter the last couple years the ticks are ferocious around here That's why I manage my fire ant population instead of destroying as many as I can. They effectively control ticks, chiggers, fleas and some spiders. If allow too many fire ants, they will wipe out anything on the ground - like birds and small animals. I hate Fire ants with a passion, but it's a matter of choosing the lessor evil. I haven't seen a single tick, flea or chigger in three years since I changed my approach, but darn...........you have to watch where you stand or sit!!
