One Granddaughter in KY confirmed with delta, another sick, not confirmed.
Why would they have sent them back to school?
Makes sense, but it doesn't.

Regular Covid did not seem to affect children too much so I think they were going by that info. Maybe Delta is different?

Great nephew (10) had fever and tested positive. After that first day, he never had fever again. Never felt bad. Just bored being "in jail" (LOL) for 10 days.

The youtube channel by Dr. John Campbell is the most sane source of covid info we've found. The updates aren't quite daily but he is an excellent teacher. Yes, the delta variant affected young people more but differently. Sending kids back to school is a debatable subject given the fact that the younger they are, the more likely they are to spread all sorts of germs, not just covid.

UPDATE: 2 Grandaughters had it, back in school, one college, one high school, 1 Grandson in college has it, does school by computer, no in person classes this year
I have tested negitive three times, but I am so "full" in my chest, I can't seem to get a breath. Slight fever, big headache, I just don't know, getting into a Dr. takes an act of congress

We came close to contacting Delta through my son's cub scout troop. Positive case at a weekend camp event, and another positive later on while selling popcorn. Thankfully he and I have tested negative this entire time.

Much better now with breathing, still testing neg, would have to go somewhere to get it except from Wife, since she goes to store ext. but sad fact is I have to do an INR test every week and go to a "clinic" to do it, where you would expect "sick" people to be/come to.
I'll just keep testing and hope I stay negative, if I had to quarantine, I don't know how I would get my INR test, guess I would just keep the same meds going, which they have not changed anyway, for as long as I can remember.
