I was given a old Stihl 076 that had been in the woods for 15 years This was 3 years ago and I worked on it then I did get it running at the time Well I lost my big saw to the crank broke So I started working on this 076 it took 3 days but got it running The saw had not ran in 18 years this is something to think about a old saw that can sit in a rainforest for 15 years and still run Yes it took a lot of work to get it going but it runs great I have some newer saw that have not sat that long that will never run again I will get my 066 running again but it's going to take $350 to rebuild it The clutch broke and jammed up and broke the crank A new crank and clutch it's over #250 so I will save up and rebuild the saw

Stihl is a good saw I bought one back in the 80s and it hasn’t been taken care of or maintained like it should have been, but it will run and cut like it needs to when it needs to
