Had a heart attack Friday, just home this afternoon.
All three 2006 by-passes are 100% blocked, a stint in the main one artery left feeding the front of the heart was collapsed and blocked with plack, giving me about 30% flow.
Dr. had to dig that stint out with a cath, then replace it with a new stint, now I have about 70% flow in that artery and all the little ones feeding the heart, I won't run no races but I can keep livin'
Feel alright, just tired, no pain anywhere.
Fixing anything further would be open heart surgery again and I dont want to unless I have to. I just turned 70, my Wife's GrandFather had open heart when he was 80, but I'll pass on that if I can.
Not much else going on here.
How is everyone!?
Not much activity on the forum.

So sorry to hear that. It is very quiet. It's summer and people are busy. I know I'm not online as much as I am in winter. We are well here but my mom has pancreatic cancer. She is 85 and does not want surgery or chemo. So I'm extra busy and out of town more often than normal.

Sorry to hear about your health issues, but glad you are doing better and back home.
As far as forum activity....all forums that I have seen are down. They just don't seem all that popular anymore.

YOU GUYS ARE ALL POPULAR TO ME! Woody so very sorry for your heart attack. Prayers inbound and continuing. cowgirlup So sorry about your MOM but my cousin at 68 just 2 years ago made the same decision and died very quickly. She was at my house on 9/23/19 and diagnosed 6 weeks later and died on 11/29/19. She refused anything other than some palliative care. I respect anyone who makes that choice. We have the right to say yes or no to any but especially very hard to handle healthcare. She will be in my prayers (all on her are always mentioned to God at church).

Fort Sill is really hot this month. The last time I've seen temps in the hundreds consecutively on a daily basis was 29 Palms, and based on what a fellow Marine posted my part of Oklahoma exceeded the Stumps; which greatly befuddles me since we're not a true desert environment.
Two of the kids are paying for the heat with allergy symptoms, but our housing unit is the kind here that has the most powerful/reliable A/C so we keep it less than 69 at all times. Wife doesn't like the super narrow garage, but the houses that have an acceptably wide one don't have quite as good A/Cs.
Heck at this point I don't think the car's freon can keep up (well, just my side anyway) so I'm investing in a sun shade in the near future.
The Army finally got rolling with getting my leave balance from the Corps to transfer over. I sent a follow up email earlier today asking if higher bureaucracy did anything yet. If it was only a couple of days tops I wouldn't have cared so much, but we're talking 37.5 days. I ain't keeping quiet about that!
Nobody's going to be physically in school this year. One's going virtual, and the other we're homeschooling.
Band is currently on leave. I've been keeping busy taking the kids to various appointments and what not.
On a way more somber note we'll take prayers for one of our family members. Angelhelp can fill in on details if you PM her.

Prayers sent, woodyz. I am also having my heart checked out. Every test they do seems OK, but it seems to raise another question. hopefully the last test will be done in 3 days.

Well I reckon these are ills that hit us when we get to a certain stage.I had a little stroke about a year ago. Right front lobe and small so no lingering effects. I’ll be sending up prayers for all. Good to catch up and hear from old friends. The world is still crazy(ier) and sliding fast and yet I look at the sunrise/set and am thankful and blessed. Y’all stay safe and watch your six.
