Love a good cheesecake... or strawberries cored out and stuffed with cheesecake filling! ;D I am a strawberry freak. ;D Seriously...if we are use to being alone and having certain things to ourselves...how do we change that idea of living when SHTF with as little stress as possible? IE: I have a huge strawberry bed...I am NOT noted for sharing my strawberries, except just with a friend who makes me 4 bottles of strawberry wine a year. How hard is it going to be to change that notion and share if I have a full house for long term?!!

Sure it might be nice if you shared everything but if having the berry patch to yourself keeps you from hating your guests then just do it. Of course it would be rude to eat them right in front of them but you shouls be able to keep most of them to yourself unless everyone is truly starving.

Plant more strawberries I don't know what it is about the heat wave in June and the flood in Aug played heck with everything I planted except my berries (strawberries and blackberries) They are in their second year and I can hardly keep up with them or with training the runners. They are growing like the Kudzu around here. Not that I am complaining about them multiplying.

Personal space...Move!!! I am all about personal space...don't get into my bubble!!! Last Friday night I was at the Dojo watching Trace practice. They introduced two new students and that added at the least one more proud parent watching...thus one more seat occupied. When all but one seat was taken, a lady asked if she could sit by me, I politely got up and went outside to my truck and sat there until the class was over and it was time for sparing. I knew that 4 parents would be leaving because their kids are not at a sparing level...at that time I went back in. If a restaurant gets crowded and my exit is blocked by waiting guests...I will leave. I don't call myself claustrophobic but my space is MY space!!!

Off topic? Really? Nah, garret just said he likes his personal space. A lot. Dink & I thought we'd pop in and visit. Dink likes strawberries. I'm fine as long as there's chocolate. I just want to see garret's expression once Dink & I have arrived, after which I'm fine with departing fairly promptly. Dink plans to stay a while. The rest of us also appreciate our personal space and some of us are concerned about the impact of closer/tighter quarters after TSHTF. That should pretty well bring us back to topic.
