Here are a couple of things I have added to my kits lately. What about you? anything maybe not on existing lists?
Some extra things I have added to my kits:
I have 12 gauge flares for signaling and I can cut into 1 inch pieces and start a fire when wood is exceptionally wet.
I also have a 12 gauge tripwire device where using the 12ga flare will let me pin point where the tripwire was set off. I use blanks in the device for an alarm as well.
I have a few sparklers from last 4th of July. Also for signaling and fire starting.
I have Smokebombs, for signaling or marking a location.

+1 I buy #4, #7, 00 and slugs by the case. But I also reload those loads. In addition I have inserts so I can shoot 20 ga, .410 ga, .45, 9mm and .22 from a 12 ga. So whatever I am stocking or reloading or trade for or find I just need to one shotgun. Although I wouldn't want to mislead anyone into thinking I just have the one 12 ga Before I forget it I watched a video where the subject was shot shell cutting. The idea being if you have #7 shot but need a slug, you cut the shell all the way around but so the ends of the cut over lap. Cut it so you are still under the wad. Then that #7 shot will all stay together just like a slug and in my testing that #7 slug went through 1/2 inch plywood just like a slug. Also he showed to just cut the top off and dump the shot. Then melt some wax, even crayons will work and are even better because you can watch it hit, mix the shot into the melted wax and use a spoon to put it back into the shell. When the wax hardens you have a slug. Works for me
