This is the smartest rabbit I have. While I was watching her she pushed down the fence in my bean patch and pulled out a piece of johnson grass to eat. Don't worry, I said she was smart, when I am not watching she pushes the fence down and eats the beans. New quail hatching out I dig the worms, the ducks eat them. They will follow me around any time I pick up a shovel or a hoe, and ignore me if I don't. This Bob White is on a chest high stump we left standing in their run, I had my camera set wrong so I had trouble catching him still. One of the males (or several) will fly up there every morning and at dusk and sing the Bob White song, I love to hear it. I said the black rabbit was my smartest one. Well this is her oldest son. Look close. This rabbit has learned to stand on the fence completely enclosing some strawberry plants, so his weight pushes the fence down and the plants stick through so he can eat them. That's what I meant by the black bunny pushing the fence down. They don't push it over just down where the leaves will stick through. Smart rabbits.
