Vitamins and minerals are essential nutrients and its a very good thing to keep a few days worth of vitamins and minerals in your BOB (mine is 45 days). It may keep you going when the food is scarce.

Been taking vitamins daily for many years. They should be part of everyone's prep items to stock up on, especially multi-vitamins.

I keep vitamins in my bob and change them out once a year for fresh ones. If in a situation where you are eating wild game, or forced to eat from dumpsters, etc. in a very hard survival situation, those vitamins will supplement things in your diet you are missing. They weigh nothing and take up practically no space. I see it as smart.

Arn't Pine Needles loaded with vitamin C??? Good if you got Pine trees around. WC First I'd have to find a transplant in my area, then I'd need an extension ladder to reach any of the lowest branches. Not much of a help for me. All the more reason for me to stock up.
