Has anyone modified a bicycle to use as a bov? Seems like a lot of hollow tubing that could hold supplies in a concealed manner. Removing the seat would be easy access to some open tubing but still a lot of other tubing available if you could access it. How about a handlebar grip that could be pulled out with a blade or spike attached. What about setting up a small generator charged by the tire turning to charge up batteries. Maybe concealing a derringer sized pistol in the seat.

Bicycle? Actually a good choice “if” you need a way to get out of town or do a little scouting. Consider a mountain bike – big wide tires, multiple gearing, disk brakes and a hefty suspension. Now add an “E-bike” kit – an electric motor built into the rear hub or the pedal crank – these units are quite silent. Using a lightweight lithium battery, you are good for 20 to 40 miles and you can recharge via solar. Until you need this vehicle, you can put around town, drop a few pounds and harden a muscle or two. Nothing like riding out on leg power, then riding back under battery power.

E-Bike add-on would be great for an OldePhart (like me) for some of the hills we have hearabouts.
I used to ride road bikes a lot - thirty years ago. Have a rockhopper comp these days and stick to fire roads and rails to trails.
