survivalblog.com/listoflists.xls
I have posted this before but it has been a while.
This is an excel spread sheet where lists have been made as separate sheets for almost everything you can imagine
It has calculations, reference links and embedded links from one list to any others containing the same item
Over time I modified the information to represent what I had, what I planed to get and what I needed to appropriate the remainder.
A firs it is a lot of work, but I have a lot of time on my hands
Now if I want to know how many bags of rice I have I go to the food list
Rice is then reference linked to a location list, this tells me where I have rice and where I don't
I can quickly see and selective print out three columns, that tell me how much I have, what I am scheduled to buy this month and what I am lacking and must acquire at the proper time.
The HAVE column is the field linked to the location lists, but so are the buy and acquire columns all linked to a location code on the location sheet. So I might link a cache in the have column, Walmart in the buy now column and a food bank or DR/Vets office or pharmacies, nursing homes, armouries etc.
For example Amazon has a distribution warehouse 40 miles from me, lets say it is warehouse 7, when I look for a need to acquire item I record the "Amazon Part #, for a location, linked to a map, office hours and other significant information about the location.
For example an item list is referenced linked to the cache location, so I know where I have battery powered hand tools.
This location table was the hardest to make work because it may have multiple hits for a single item, and I had to make sure this sheet was password protected
I print to file the revisions and store as PDF files, CVS files on my Kindle and other external storage devices.
