Couldn't find anything on my own so I decided to throw this out here for the crew. 1) How are "rib spreaders" attached to a baton? 2) does anyone mill those that I could purchase? Thanks ya'll.

Hmmm sounds like the fbi will call you in and ask if you violated your 'clients' civil rights. I've heard those questions back in the early 70s (and once at OCS). The answer of course is 'absolutely not'. Mostly because there wasn't any evidence of such. Not sure how you explain separating tissue from bone though. Of course I can think of several instances where that 'non-lethality' action was preferred under some circumstances over shooting the maggot.

Re-reading my post, I failed to communicate well. I am making a wood baton and want to attach the rib spreader to it. Thywar, its a marble sized metal ball on the end of the shaft. Makes for a good glass breaker too. Applied to the rib cage it "spreads" the ribs and causes "discomfort". They are common place in correctional facilities. I want to know if someone makes anything like that I can use screw into the end of my home made baton.

Maybe a half round carriage bolt cut off and inset into the end of your baton. Either epoxied, or threaded in.

We just always called it a 'boot', seperated all kinda stuff. Re-reading my post, I failed to communicate well. I am making a wood baton and want to attach the rib spreader to it.
