So Israel wants to share their knowledge and this guy is all about NO! Then I say let the fools and their regulations and their California 'we know better than you' attitude with their environmental BS FOAD. '"Unlike Israel, where permits for desalination plants have been accelerated, California has a long process because of environmental concerns. "You can't just build a plant," Cohen said." Check out this article from USA TODAY: Israel to California: Here's how to save water usat.ly/1Rhtzrt

What you want some EPA pukes to loose their jobs and contribute to the unemployment rates? Yes, it is easy to say it wont work.... because that is what we expect... No one is willing to step up and say well if we break the state down along these lines and put plants here and pipe water here... well you get the picture. It just far easier and socially acceptable to say nope it is to complex a problem for us to solve....

I've been following that for a few years now. It took 7 years and 14 lawsuits to get just a small one going north of San Diego. For what it cost them in legal fights they could have built four of them. The perception that somehow lake Meade is going to bail them out is bogus. They are going to suffer greatly in the next two years for that crap. There simply isn't any water to steal in neighboring states. Not in my backyard is about to revert that back yard to desert.

Here in Arizona we say "Flush the toilet and give California a drink." I wonder how long before California outlaws swimming pools?

Here in Arizona we say "Flush the toilet and give California a drink." I wonder how long before California outlaws swimming pools? Must be a whole lotta flushin' goin' on. They reopened the water park.
