Of Course these are the same people who want to be able to LEGALLY spy on everyone, so they can protect us from our self, because they know what is better for us than we do. So maybe their numbers are wrong. After all, if their numbers showed they were not needed, why we might eliminate them altogether, and they couldn't have that.

Liberty for safety must not be the rule.

But, at the same time the world is a much more dangerous place then it was just 10 years ago (we could argue why, but not that it is) so we must find a MIDDLE GROUND between protection and liberty.
