ok this method will likely not work everywhere... But it works really well here, you take the sheep (usually rams) that you want to be fed up, and walk them up the mountain til you get to the steep ocean side of the mountain (some might call it cliffs), as there are gazzillions of birds there, the grass n stuff is super fertilzed every single day. You then just let the sheep walk in the cliffs for the summer and fall, and then collect them again for slaughter, and they will on average be 20 pounds heavier than your average sheep, and much tastier as well. Some mates did this last week in their part of the wilderness, and took a few hundred pics that I'm going to share some of here, they might be a little bit large, for that I appologise. I've been on two such "fatten up cliff trips", note the difference of the grass before they get to the "pastures" and the grass of the "pastures" Here they are leaving the village with the rams chosen for fattening. The village is Saksun And from here on it's all about getting to the right spot. And then going back home

Beautiful scenery! I chuckled at the picture where the rope was tossed.

That is awesome!!! Just one question...why are they tied together? They aren't tied together, but there's a rope in each individual rams horns, so that it is possible to pull it down or up, as in using force on, some slopes where the ram otherwise might refuse to go. They have just tied the ropes there already from the start before going into the mountains, to save time later on tying/untying etc
