Here is a pic of that hammer hatchet I picked up yesterday. Not a huge fan of cutouts on my blade but, price was right. Not sure exactly, but that notch in the beard I think is some sort of 'can opener'.   |

Or it could be used to open or close water and gas meters. That slot would fit over mine. Just saying.

Funny USMC, you were talking about the notch, I was looking at the rectangle which is what I was addressing in my previous post.
