Has anyone had any experience with the Snugpack jungle blanket? Friend of mine has purchased 2 of them. They are surprisingly warm but lite weight. About $35 at Amazon. Comes with a stuffbag.
Fixing to order one...

Well, heck, Jimmy. There just went another $35. Geez!
Love my Woobie (poncho liner) but it's so slick I can't keep covered with it. Maybe the "jersy like" material on the inside of this thing will make it less slick.

I'll be interested in your opinion of them. I can get surplus military wool blankets here for $5 each. But space requirements might make your idea a possibility, esp for the car.
Let us know?

The one I got to look at was very lite weight. It seemed to make me warm right up in just a short time. The 2 sides are different. The outer part is suppose to be pretty wind resistant. Also suppose to be somewhat water resistant. It does every bit as good as my old GI poncho blanket. With the stuff bag its less than 2 lbs. If you Google Snugpack they have a lot of products.
