Got some Danner Tanicus (waterproof version) form Patriot Supply CO. Got them for Christmas and my wife, bless her heart, ordered the correct size but they were a half size to short and waaaay too tight. Danners, I guess run small. So, sent them back (easy as pie to deal with company) and reordered them in 10 1/2 EE. Got those in last week and they fit pretty good but still a little snug. Did not like them much at first and the boot tongue kept rubbing on the top of the ankle. It was irritating. Well, I finally folded the tongue the other way and it fixed that. Now that they are breaking in, which I thought would not be necessary, Im liking them a lot more. They are light and stay tied well. I question the durability of these Taiwan made boots but have had good luck with Danner before and if they crap out in next six months I get them replaced. More to come.

tfx and tachyon are very comfy. tfx are still snug but i have not worn them much

Been wearing the Danners most everyday for last ten days or so. Breaking in well overall. My only complaint is the dont breathe as well as ai had hoped. These are intended for my daily wear and so far holding up nicely. We'll see how the three month mark looks and report back on them then.
