I like that the battery pack is in the back. It helps with the counter weight.
I'm a fan of these for the folks that like to wear baseball caps and doesn't require a "lot" of light.

Of course finding one made in the USA in next to ****ing impossible.

I'm trying to keep all battery operated items on AA batteries.

I try also to keep them to AA but it's dang hard. Soooo I keep as many AAA as AA batteries . I will say headlights for me are just hands free close up work light, changing a tire at night, starting a fire etc. I have a dozen or so of different brands. My favorite one is an Everyready with 2 AAA and very lightweight.
