Stopped local Wally World yesterday and picked up three 50rd boxes of Fed .22's. couldn't believe they had some on the shelf over the weekend of the Fourth. They had CCI 100rd boxes but, they were almost $14 per box! I'm not desperate enough for .22 to pay that much. The ones I got avg out to about 6.5 cents/rd. Ahhh, tis the little things in life...  |

I too scored today. Was in Wally World to get a few things. I always check the ammo when I'm in a Wally (we have 18 or more in the area). Picked up 3 boxes of 500 count Thunderbolt 22lr for $24.97 a box. Looks like a few more rounds at the range tomorrow are in order.

Ten days ago in WM they had 100 ct boxes of CCI .22. Could only buy three. I did. Went to the car, put in a different hat, took the long way around the store and a different person was behind the counter. Three more boxes.
Week before that while in Tulsa for bowl turning class I went to academy bought 1,000 rds (all they would sell me) for $99.00.
So my RG is happy.
