10/22 Full Auto

Of course its illegal and I wouldn't do it when rules apply, but it might be nice to know that it can be done if SHTF

Personally I am not fond of full auto, but I would take a select fire 3 shot burst any day

there is just something about a weapon where a "modified" trigger can just be dropped in to replace a non-modified if needed.

I have a friend that 15 or so years ago managed to build a full auto 1022 with a suppressor made from nothing more than odd ball line parts.

He called me to come over and. Check out something. Though a lineman by trade he was a Machinist extraordinaire...he brings out this 1022 into the backyard in a subdivision and says watch....I said what are you doing??? Before I got that all the way out he burned a 30 rd mag into the ground....only noise was the action clacking....period

Needless to say I was amazed. I ran a mag through it and gotta say that was something. It was extremely fast cycling.

That was the first and last time I saw it.
