If it works as claimed it would be very useful.

For example my Sons insulin could be transported safely (always a concern ice has cold and warmer spots)

But its very functional as designed as well, fits in current sized water bottle pouches,etc

$50 sounds high until you try and buy equal replacements and spend 25% more to do it, so its high but reasonable for what you get

if it does what it says

I can see it could really be a useful item. Could be great for last minute. Bet you keep it in the freezer it hold the cold even longer.

Yep. Two Thermos brands will cost $40-50. Maybe a bit more capacity in the Thermos but less convenient.
