Was at my local Wally World last night and scored two boxes of Winchester 36gr copper plated HP .22 in the 555 round size. They were only $27.99 per box which worked out to $60 and change after tax. If my math was right, that comes down to about $.058 per rd. If I'd had a bit more cash, I would've gotten the third box. Haven't even seen 555 rd bricks at WM in quite some time.

Don't see much 555 here either but I can get 325 federal 40 gr for $19 adds up about the same
or
Winchester 525 36 gr at $29 so its a little more
but they are there every time I go in so thats good

I did the same but only one box. They had four on hand. IN THE AFTERNOON!!!! That's twice now I've scored boxes like that in the last month. But my RG has grown two more inches on the bbl from this steady diet. (I'm not saying that's an improvement on anything though). |

I dress the walmart down all the time now a days...
My gun shop has UNLIMITED 22s in about 10 different brands.
Glad you were able to find some. Price seems good too.

It's mostly hit or miss at my local WM with miss leading by a lot. Seems as soon as they get em in...GONE. If only we knew ahead of time 22 ammo was going to be scarce...could have made some money.

Only 27.99, we say that so easily now LoL. I found an old box of federal 550s in our shed at moms old house with a paper stick on tag from Walmart 7.99.
