Average size here is around 4 inches, with some getting bigger but you have to search for em. Still in a survival situation I don't care what size they are i'm eating them. Great info thanks for sharing and it's great to have you back ;D

Very good video...I want ot make a few and get me some crawdads!! Sure beats trying to catch them by hand!! Gonna butcher chickens this weekend, so I will have plenty of bait! ;D

I am going to make a thread about how I go about doing it. I usually skin them, but everyone wants the skin on this time, so we will be scalding and plucking...I don't use gloves. Pics will be posted though...Normally I keep the livers for breading and deep frying...but I think this time I am going to see if I can use them to get me a bunch of crawdads for cookin in the smoker!!

Here's an idea after you cook the chicken take it and hang it outside over night in the morning I will be hanging there by my teeth ;D ;D to get rid of me just poke me with a broom handle ;D ;D

Dink you may want to check out the other video of making a crawfish trap out of junk. It's a smaller simpler to make one.
