For the ebayers on here:
type in "airport confiscation" in the search box on ebay and see what pops up.
It'll probably be maddening to many on here (including myself); at the same time I saw it as an opportunity to get those items out of their rat-little hands, and the prices aren't bad at all.

WTF!!! Were people trying to sneak them on the plane? If it was an honest mistake the airpot personnell are supposed to let you return it to your car or mail it home.

That's one of the reasons I rarely fly...

Some of those are pretty good deals. Could make some good barter item in a post shtf scenario.

Some of those are pretty good deals. Could make some good barter item in a post shtf scenario. Exactly what I was thinking. And if some of them circulated back to their original owners: that's even better.

they WILL let you go put it in your car, or mail it to yourself.
I forgot about my EDC little gerber pocket knife in my purse and mailed it to myself. I was only able to do this because I got to the airport extremely early and there was almost no line at security.
I suspect many people are just running late, or they already waited in a long line to get to the front of security, and took a shuttle from longterm parking etc. and just figure their $20 item just isn't worth the possibility of missing their flight or the headache associated with getting in the back of the line.

on a side note, my in laws were going to Hawaii to see my bro in law, from Canada, they had about 20lbs of polish sausage from the deli and some tard made the mistake of typing out 'may contain beef' on the ingredients label even though it was smoked pork sausage, it all got confiscated, great lunch to the border guards that day I bet. One day maybe 30 years ago my grandpa was going home from here to Holland, he had a 2 inch folding knfe in his back pocket, at 70 some years old he used it to clean his fingernails and the airport guards wisely removed it from him so he didnt hijack the plane. again, idjits.
The terrorists dont need to kill any more north americans, their brief actions have totally screwed up our lives already with fear and government over reaction.
